When I get asked to work in schools we usually have a conversation about whether I will be delivering a workshop or a talk. Generally speaking, RSE workshops are better than talks.

I was chatting with my sex educator mate Alice Hoyle about showing videos in RSE and here’s a summary of our thoughts on this. As you can see, we’re not huge fans of this approach, but we do have some top tips at the end.
Inclusive relationships and sex education should do a lot more than just having an LGBTQ lesson. Queering sex education make RSE better for everyone and being truly inclusive.
With the upcoming changes to RSE becoming a reality next year, a lot of schools will be looking to overhaul their curriculum, find some new resources, and support their staff.
